Margaret Linder Southern Endowment Fund

Margaret Linder Southern passed away in October 2012 and left an $8.4 million bequest to the Community Foundation to establish an endowment fund. The Community Foundation carries out her wishes by making annual distributions from her endowment fund to benefit the Greenville Humane Society (50%) and organizations that benefit or provide services for early childhood education and special education for children and youth (50%).

Greenville First Steps – $40,000

Meyer Center for Special Children – $50,000
