  Implement intervention training for 250 law enforcement and EMS personnel as first responders to people experiencing psychiatric crises.
• Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upstate, Inc. - $40,000
  Recruit and train 100 new mentors for "at risk" youth in Greenville County.
• Camp Opportunity - $49,540
  Hire a part-time program coordinator for planning purposes and provide training for counselors.
• Camp Spearhead (Greenville County Recreation District) - $50,000 (2 years)
  Fund Camp Spearhead program scholarships.
• Carolina Family Services, Inc. - $40,000 (2 years)
  Provide short-term, intensive, in-home therapy services for minority youth who are at risk for placement in the juvenile justice system.
• Clarity, Inc. - $40,000
  Replace aging and outdated audiology (hearing testing) equipment.
• The Family Effect Foundation - $47,000 (2 years)
  Implement the Duke Treatment Protocol at Serenity Place addiction treatment center for mothers and their children.

  Fund the Nurse Family Partnership for low-income, first-time mothers.
