Four Community Leaders Join Board

Rob Morgan
Rob Morgan is Vice Chair of Education of Greenville Anesthesiology, P.A. and Medical Director of the Greenville Healthcare Simulation Center.  A board-certified anesthesiologist, Rob serves as President of the Greenville County Medical Society, Chair of MEDPAC, and is a Past President of the South Carolina Society of Anesthesiologists.  He is a Leadership Greenville graduate (Class 31) and has served on its Board of Regents, on the Board of Directors of the Upstate Chapter of the American Red Cross, and as Chair of the Piedmont Health Foundation Board of Directors.  He was instrumental in helping develop the City of Greenville’s non-smoking ordinance and was named the Physician of the Year by the South Carolina Medical Association in 2009 for his community service.  Rob received a B.S. in Biology and Political Science from Emory University, attained his M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia, completed residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital, and is currently a Clemson University M.B.A. candidate.

Wendy Walden

Wendy Walden is the Director of Marketing for Greenville Technical College Corporate and Career Development. She has been with Greenville Tech for over five years and has held various positions within marketing and sales and as television host of Greenville Tech GEN Channel. Prior to joining Greenville Tech, Wendy worked for Agfa Healthcare and the DuPont Company in various management positions.  She serves on the Urban League Advisory Board, TechReadySC Board, is actively involved with Strength Incorporated ministries and has served on numerous community organizations for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce and other non-profit organizations.  Wendy is originally from Delaware and has lived in Greenville for the past 12 years with her two teenage daughters, Victoria and Alexandra. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Place University in New York.  

Angela Webb

K. Angela Webb is a new resident in Greenville having moved here a year ago when CertusBank chose Greenville as the location for its headquarters.  She is the President of CertusHoldings, Inc. and CertusBank, N.A.  As the President she is responsible for providing strategic direction for the core businesses and infrastructure.  Angela is the former Chief Administrative Officer of CertusBank, N.A.  As the CAO, she had the responsibility for providing executive direction and oversight for all human capital strategies to include: Compensation, Recruiting, Training and Development, Talent Acquisition and Retention.  Additionally, as the CAO she also managed Marketing, Communications, Community and Public Relations, Customer Analytics, the Philanthropic Foundation and Insurance.  She is responsible for building the brand and culture of the organization.  Angela worked with Wachovia Bank and its predecessors for more than 20 years in Human Resources and management where she was responsible for managing a team of HR professionals that provided strategic and consultative leadership and tactical execution to more than 15,000 employees in 40 states.  Angela also managed several lines of businesses including sales, operations, branch network, scorecard management and consulting.      

Dick Wilkerson

Richard (Dick) Wilkerson was recently named Chairman Emeritus of Michelin North America, having served as Chairman and President from 2008 to 2011.  Dick spent 31 years with Michelin in manufacturing and personnel positions in the United States, France and Scotland. Dick earned a civil engineering degree from Duke University and spent twelve years with Procter & Gamble in manufacturing, engineering and human resources before joining Michelin North America.  He is past chairman of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and a member of the Board of Directors of the Yellowstone Park Foundation. Previously, he served on the Clemson University President�s Advisory Board and the University of South Carolina National Advisory Council.  Dick is active in the Greenville community, serving as chairman-elect of the United Way of Greenville County Board of Trustees and previously as its fundraising campaign chair.  In addition, he has served on the boards of the Greenville Urban League, the Chamber of Commerce, the University Center and the Greenville Symphony.
