Social/Community Services - $78,558

  • A Child's Haven - $8,000 for technology needs.

  • Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upstate Inc. - $6,500 to develop a pilot mentoring program for youth who have had an encounter with the juvenile justice system to prevent them from reoffending.

  • Compass of Carolina Inc. - $7,000 to provide scholarships and partial salary for the therapist for the Child Therapy Program. 
  • Diligent Hands Gracious Hearts - $5,000 for technology software to streamline operations and build capacity.
  • Foothills Family Resources - $5,000 to create a strategic plan which will guide the board and administration on all decisions so as to better support the organization's mission of self-sufficiency for families in northern Greenville County.
  • Golden Strip Emergency Relief & Resources Agency - $7,000 for technology upgrade to improve client services.
  • Greenville Forward - $5,000 to build the infrastructure for the Greenville Indicators website which is a vehicle for monitoring and reporting data.
  • Homes of Hope Inc. - $7,500 for a home-ownership program for very low wealth small families and individuals called LoCAL Housing that is affordable and sustainable.
  • Project Host Inc. - $2,835 to purchase extra refrigeration space to expand the Feeding Hungry Children Project.
  • South Carolina Foothills Search and Rescue Inc. - $5,723 to purchase equipment and gear used with the K-9 unit during search missions.
  • Upstate Homeless Coalition of South Carolina - $10,000 for the Housing Counseling Program to prevent foreclosure and homelessness.
  • YWCA Greenville - $9,000 to replace computer server and desktop computers.

Health - $27,768

  • Cancer Society of Greenville County - $9,877 to upgrade computer system and software to better serve patients.
  • Clarity Inc. - $4,690 for part-time staff support.
  • Greenville Free Medical Clinic - $7,000 for increased on-site laboratory services.
  • YWCA - LiveWell Greenville - $5,000 to launch the LiveWell At-Worship Initiative to offer assessment, technical assistance, mentoring and tools to support faith-based leaders.
  • Taylors Free Medical Clinic Inc. - $1,201 to install wifi and to purchase a computer that is capable of reading digital diagnostic disks.

Education - $18,520

  • Junior Achievement of Greenville Inc. - $6,000 to provide programs to develop economic and entrepreneurial skills for all 8th grade students at Tanglewood Middle School.
  • Project Hope Foundation Inc. - $7,020 to provide multi-sensory learning technology to teachers at Hope Academy and Hope Alive programs.
  • United Ministries - $5,500 to provide adult education and prepare students for the GED exam.

Environment - $1,000

  • Trees Greenville Inc. - $1,000 for the Play in the Shade program to increase shaded areas on school campuses and parks throughout Greenville County.
