Arts and Humanities Programs:  $14,713

  • Greenville Symphony Orchestra - $6,700 for Music for Hearing-Impaired Audiences
  • Metropolitan Arts Council - $8,013 for a collaborative effort for the Arts Section of The Chamber Channel.

Education Programs:  $18,102

  • Alliance for Quality Education - $9,000 for teacher mentors 
  • Meyer Center for Special Children - $9,102 for Project Lend to create a lending library of communication devices

Health Programs:  $33,500

  • Cancer Society of Greenville - $25,000 to provide life-saving cancer related medications to cancer patients
  • Greenville Free Medical Clinic - $3,000 for the Pharmacy IVR Computerized Refill System
  • Mental Health America of Greenville County - $4,000 for a consulting firm to increase their effectiveness and stability 
  • Taylors Free Medical Clinic - $1,500 to purchase equipment and storage for gynecology exam rooms

Social Services Programs:  $78,335

  • Big Brothers Big Sisters - $10,000 for growth and infrastructure development
  • Communities in Schools of Greenville, Inc. - $10,000 for Engage to Succeed project.
  • Foothills Family Resources - $7,885 for early childhood intervention program
  • Greenville Humane Society - $8,550 to purchase equipment to provide low-cost spay/neuter clinics
  • Greenville Rape Crisis & Child Abuse Center - $10,000 to publish a book of abuse survivors' stories
  • Meals on Wheels - $7,500 for Project Safe Foods to insure the safety of food during service and transportation of clients' meals 
  • Project Hope - $5,900 to produce a DVD to assist in early detection and intervention for children with autism
  • Triune Mercy Center - $6,000 for Road to Recovery, a program to assist rehabilitation facilities for addicted clients 
  • Upstate Community Mediation Center - $12,500 for volunteer mediation training program
